Cooltips version 1.0 from Excalibur Software is
an ActiveX server that greatly enhances the visual appearance
of your application's tooltips. Cooltips provide a
high level of visual customization
and are a compact addition to your project.
Cooltips can accept and display a subset of HTML
code to provide your application with rich-text
tooltips for any control that has a MouseMove event
and a hWnd.
This documentation covers all of the server's
feature set, and most functionality is also demonstrated
in the Visual Basic project packaged with the
Cooltips download.
Note: Cooltips are not designed to precisely reproduce the effect you would get from a standard Web browser; they are intended for use in situations where emphasized text or graphics would benefit tip display in your application. Therefore, you may notice certain differences in the way HTML is rendered in a Cooltip window.
