of the control? VB's CommandButton would never be able to do it, but this one
can. Ever needed to tile a picture in the background of a button? Use a gradient

Notes: Version 1.5 was released for the purpose of adding the WinXP
style to the RainbowButton's Appearance property. Note that this style only functions
on Windows XP systems that have XP Themes enabled.

Features
- Give your buttons the standard 3D border, or use "cool" buttons
that display a border only when the mouse cursor is over them.
- Specify a BackColor, ForeColor, MaskColor, HighlightColor, ShadowColor,
Picture, and Font for each button! Place the picture at the top, bottom,
left, right, or center of the button's face.
- Fill a button's background with a solid color, a gradient fill, or a tiled
picture.
- Buttons can have a number of predefined shapes, or assign a shape that you
create using the Windows region APIs.
- Two-state buttons work like a check box, allowing a True/False value to be
associated with the button.
- Have the option of turning off the default and/or focus rectangle
for the button.
- Don't like the way RainbowButton draws something? Use its Custom Draw
interface to manually draw the background, borders, picture, or caption - or
customize just one of the button's visual aspects and let RainbowButton do
the rest.

RainbowButton 1.5 (VB6 build, 103KB) was built
in VB6 Service Pack 5 and requires the VB6 runtime DLL.
- Extract all included files to a single directory.
- Register ExRainButton.ocx. This is generally done using RegSvr32.exe,
which should be in your Windows folder if you have installed Visual Basic.
- You can read the documentation to learn how to use RainbowButton, and
there are also several sample projects to give an outline of how its
properties, methods, and events work.
